Meet the Committee
As a charity-run Preschool we are highly dependent on our parent committee for Merry Go Round's operation. Made up of volunteer members, our committee help with day-to-day management, finance, fundraising and conduct of the preschool.
Hannah Watt

Hannah has lived in Devon all her life and is mum to two daughters, Ruby (7) who attends Stokenham Primary School, and Mila (3), who has attended Merry Go Round Preschool for the past year. She is thriving in the wonderful child centred setting.
Hannah is really excited about being part of the committee of such a caring and lovely Preschool. Having joined the committee in 2023, she is looking forward to being able to support the Merry Go Round team and help ensure its successful future.

Hannah and her husband moved back to Devon in 2017 after the birth of their daughter Poppy (6). Poppy joined Merry Go Round aged 3 and moved to Stokenham Primary School two years ago. Poppy's sister Lottie (4) joined her at Merry Go Round on her second birthday and she too is thriving in this friendly, creative and fun learning environment. Hannah joined the committee in 2021 and is pleased to be able to help with the running of Merry Go Round to ensure that it prospers today and long into the future.

Helena is a local artist, also known as Helena Clews, and is proud mum of two. Her youngest attends Merry Go Round and loves it and eldest is now at Stokenham Primary School. Helena is so happy to be on the committee for such a great preschool. She's loves the opportunity to be able to contribute and support the future of such a fabulous, caring, child-centred environment.

Jo moved to Devon from Bristol in 2021 and chose Merry Go Round for its wonderful caring approach with lots of play, outdoor adventure and child-centred fun. Her three year old loves his days there and Jo joined the committee hoping to contribute towards a bright future for this lovely preschool.
