Opening Times & Session Prices

Merry Go Round is open Monday to Friday from 9.10am until 3.20pm. Children can attend mornings, afternoons or all day (subject to availability) and we charge an hourly rate of £4.00 per hour.

 

Morning session: 9:15am to 12:15pm (drop-off (9:10am)

Lunch Club: 12.15pm to 1.15pm

Afternoon session: 1:15pm to 3:15pm. (pick-up 3:20pm)

We take children between the ages of 2 and 5 years. We accept Early Years Entitlement Funding and those children entitled to the extended 30 hours funding in partnership with Devon County Council. This funding starts the term after the child’s third birthday and can give you access to up to 15 or 30 hours of childcare. We also accept 2gether funding for eligible 2-year-olds, which could also give you access to 15 hours of childcare. We belong to various Employee Child-Care Vouchers schemes – please ask for more details.

Snacks and Lunch

We provide a healthy mid-morning snack and drink for the children and drinking water is available to them throughout the day. Please let us know if your child has any allergies or dietary requirements. To keep our running costs as low as possible we ask parents to make a snack donation at the start of each term. All children should bring their own packed lunch for the lunch club.

Settling in

We aim to make Merry Go Round a welcoming place where children settle quickly and easily. When a child starts to attend, we explain the process to their parents and jointly decide on the best way to help the child to settle into the setting.

 

Key worker

We allocate a key worker soon after the child starts. The child’s key person will help them settle each day and liaise with you about any changes or concerns you may have.
